Never under estimate what you and your neighbours can do!!!!
Just three weeks earlier Cath, a near neighbour, had asked if we could get involved in the Eden Projects Big Lunch. Yes was the answer, and quite quickly the whole road moved in to action climaxing in a mega feast on Sunday afternoon.
All fully entered in to the true spirit of the event erecting, cooking, partying, eating and even tidying. Many of us met people from our road that we had never seen or spoken to.
On top of all this, our road won the Radio City prize that included Simon Greening attending the event. He and his crew enjoyed some great local & road grown food and even got some barbecue tips and recipe ideas for when they next entertain!
