All the children at Huxley C of E Primary School enjoyed an action packed morning of cooking great food and having great fun.
The children cooked up two meals with more than one or two healthy twists.
During the first session they preparred fresh pizza, strawberry and banana milk shakes and fresh fruit and Granola pots.
As if this wasn't enough they then went on to make beautiful flavoured breads including one of their own recipes that included sweetcorn & tuna. The flour used was from Walk Mill the old fashioned water powered mill just 4 miles from the school.
To go with the breads they made savoury potatoes, free range Cheshire chicken and British bacon bites (chicken from near Malpas), and for afternoon snack flap jack.
All the children had a wonderful hands on learning experience and many couldn't wait to get home and start cooking again with their parents.
