Cole Street explore the science of yeast with pizza fun.

The children of Cole Street Primary School had a fantastic day of pizza fun whilst exploring how science and cooking are linked.

The children prepared fresh dough using that single celled fungi, yeast, to make their dough rise.

They seemed particularly excited to be using an ingredient they had previously talked about and completed experiments with, within their classrooms.

One thing was for sure "science" was not only fun but very tasty. As well as making pizza the children also made strawberry milkshakes and granola pots.
